Mullingar Sustainable Energy Day

IMR and Mullingar Sustainable Energy Community (MSEC) are hosting the upcoming Sustainable Energy Day on Wednesday June 28. It is an event open to the industry and community of Mullingar and it’s being organised as part of the European Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW). The event aims to engage the community, industry professionals, researchers, engineers, and manufacturers in discussions and exploration of the latest advancements in sustainable energy.

Registration is available at www.bit.ly/imrenergyday

By attending this event, participants will learn about:

  • Funding opportunities in energy transition for industries and households
  • Role of digital technology for energy optimisation
  • Case studies from keynotes
  • Exhibitions from technology and solution providers in the energy transition sector

Moreover, this event will mark the launch of MSEC’s Sustainable Master Plan Report for Mullingar, fostering discussions on energy transition and decarbonization not only within the industry but also within the residential community. The Master Plan provides a comprehensive overview of energy consumption and generation in the Mullingar area, identifying potential alternative energy sources and recommending ways to save energy.

A good way to reduce our carbon footprint is to avoid commuting for work. There are benefits to working locally such as saving money on fuel costs, increasing your free time and getting to know more people living near you.  MidlandJobs.ie will be attending the event showcasing local employement in the area.
