Midland Jobs are supplying two feeds to the site, one that supports the CE Jobs available from the Group and the other that shows all jobs within a short commute radius. The community groups that are directly supported by the CE plugin include Streamstown Community Centre, Dysart Tidy Towns, Castletown Geoghegan GAA, Westmeath Ladies LGFA and Kilbeggan Racecourse to name a few. The CE jobs can be viewed here.

The more mainstream jobs feed contain local vacancies allowing job-seekers based anywhere, perhaps with an interest in relocating (back) to Kilbeggan, to keep an eye on opportunities arising with companies such as Gannon Eco, EVM,Kilbeggan Medical Centre and many other local companies. These Kilbeggan area jobs can be viewed here. The placement of such jobs on the Kilbeggan Communtity Group website supports local companies in finding local staff, and promotes local opportunites to job seekers closer to home.

The Kilbeggan Group are delighted with the jobs feed and went on to comment:

Tony from Midlands Jobs approached us with the idea of advertising our CE Vacancies on their website and vice versa, having only completed the transition a month ago the traffic it has generated to Kilbeggan Community Group has been amazing.  We have gained a lot of newfound interest in our Vacancies, have 3 potential new participants and are receiving tons of CV’s on a daily basis.  Tony has been extremely helpful, professional and knowledgeable and we are delighted to have the opportunity to work alongside him and Midlands Jobs.

The plugin is fully automatic and simple to use, all jobs posted on MidlandJobs.ie that are within the catchment area of Kilbeggan will appear automatically on the website and applications will be handled by MidlandJobs.ie normally.  We see this as a postitive step that enhances local community employment and is good for sustainability by reducing commuting. If you would like similar Jobs Board functionality on your site, please contact MidlandJobs.ie and we would be delighted to help you promote your local jobs.
