MidlandJobs.ie are delighted to be attending the Mullingar Agricultural Show on Sunday July 9th. The event is an excellent day out for the family showcasing arts and crafts, home produce, agricultural food and machinery, a fun fair, a dog show, the latest cars for sale, music and dancing, horse jumping, sheep shearing competitions as well as the traditional cattle and sheep competitions. The beauty of this show is that there is something for all the family in a compact environment where everything is accessible over the course of a few relaxing hours. It is very much a day where the local communtiy celebrate all that country living has to offer.
We will be there showcasing jobs from employers in the midlands and talking to job seekers checking out their local options. We will be supporting communitues by promoting local sustainable employment thereby reducing the need to commute away from towns and villages.
And of course, we will be enjoying the day chatting with friends, relatives and neighbours like its has been for almost 200 years.
